As I walked into my office today, there was a strange feeling of excitement and curiosity. I was wondering how we all were still working so hard to keep up with our CE and general professional knowledge of the industry as a professional real estate agent, and yet in this market still hold on to the faith that things will change soon with the economy. My excitement was due to seeing my colleagues working so hard, and creating the change that they wanted to see in this market by taking one after another listing and making it happen without complaining how bad things are. My curiosity was that of child, how I could create a great marketing strategy to sell my new listing. As I proceeded to brain storm it hit me like a ton of bricks, “Price!” And the game show (The Price is Right). You have to be on the cutting edge of the market to attract the buyers to even consider your listing, and then you have to have your home priced where it should be, and you will achieve your chief aim, which is to sell your listing and make your clients happy!
So agents do your homework, and don’t be afraid to present the real facts about price to your client, it is the difference between selling and not selling!

I recently discovered my love of New Haven Real Estate during one of the hardest markets in history!
Considering the state of the market in the last couple of years I have enjoyed the challenge of finding a way to help people realize their dreams even when it seemed to be virtually impossible to achieve them. I have looked at the endless possibilities of schooling available to agents and chose this path of gaining knowledge as my chief aim. I have been able to help people with short sales on listings and I was also able to help buyers negotiate to the closing table in a short sale situation with excellent results in the end!
Wow, I was thinking, if I love the real estate business in this environment, I am really going to love it in a great one.
